OUR HISTORY: EMPORIA GREENSVILLE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS ---EGBGC
Founded in 1999, our Boys and Girls Clubs serve over 400 youth and teens in the City of Emporia Greensville County Virginia area annually. The Club has two locations: GES Unit at the Greensville Elementary School and the Armory Teen Center at 105 School Street in the heart of downtown Emporia.
Dedicated to helping kids who need us the most, EGBGC provides a broad range of programs to inspire young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. The Clubs provide opportunities for youth to gain access to positive experiences that set the stage for success throughout their lifetime. Kids can choose from a wide variety of programs activities, from technology and leadership skills to gang pervention to fine arts and athletics. EGBGC also offers daily homework assistance and tutoring, as well as specialized programs for girls and teens.
